Live, experimental theatre and dance, just off the Ariapita Avenue strip—at a rate of $1.50 per minute. That was what the PM Theatre Project offered in its first three-day run, from January 27-29. The initiative by dancer and choreographer Dave Williams debuted with Ransome, at 33 Murray Street in Woodbrook, staging five engaging short pieces before modest audiences. Williams said the new space “allows audiences to encounter works that might have otherwise remained as just ideas in the heads of performing artists. The project presents a platform to begin exploring new performance ideas in dance, drama, films and music or any combination, with live audiences,” with shows being presented every month-end.
